It's slow and juddery, menus aren't supported properly and it bugs out and the rift just goes black. I've seen many better demos for the rift with more polished support.. Nice and brief (2 hrs).. Pneuma: Breath of Life is one of the very few first-person adventure games that actually look as good as the screenshots on their store pages. From the beginning to the end it's a visual feast. Along the way a voice accompanies the player and brainstorms about the idea of god and existence in general in a little faster pace than I would have liked. The philosophical tone of this monologue would have interested me a lot more if I was in my early 20s, still, it wasn't unbearable.The puzzles aren't as bad as other reviewers say, they are just not as interactive as we are accustomed to. There are a few buttons you push in your short journey but almost all of the solutions require adjusting your view the way the developer intended. This method includes a bit of trial & error at the beginning of every puzzle which sometimes becomes frustrating and eventually boring. Then again I can't remember a single adventure game I haven't felt the same at least once so this little issue is part of the whole "1st person narrative experience" package.The story is wrapped up in about a few hours - unless you get stuck in a puzzle or spend time looking for the secrets - which is not as bad as it sounds because this way you reach the end without losing interest and feeling the story is getting dragged on needlesly. Pneuma's ending was satisfying in my opinion, I liked the sudden change in the narrative although some might find it abrupt.Pneuma: Breath of Life is recommended to everyone who would like to spend a few hours on a nice looking game without expecting too much.. If you like puzzles and philiosopy then this game is perfect for you.. A really good game. When I played it, I immediately got a sense of Portal, Unravel and Stanley Parable. With logic puzzles like the first two, and comedic game that gets more serious at the end. It's a great game where you solve puzzles with logic and by thinking outside the box. The puzzles are hard enough to make you think, but isn't hard to the point to where I had to look up walkthroughs. (spoiler alert) The ending was great with the character breaking the fourth wall and making you feel guilty about playing a video game.. Getting this on sale was great, since I had played it before on a friend's xbox. I would feel that the original price of $20 is a waste of money, but for $5 this was definitely a great way to kill some time. It's a beautiful puzzle game with great narration. Check it out.. Easily the funniest puzzle game, which I wasn't expecting. Good puzzles, excellent writing/narration - perhaps a little shorter than I'd like, but very enjoyable while it lasted.Only real 'complaint' is the lack of a sprint ability and general slow movement. It's not a problem in most places though, and if there WAS a sprint, it'd mess up all the timing-based stuff.
